Nous espérons que vous avez toutes et tous passé un bel été, en tentant tant bien que mal de vous abriter de la canicule ou bien en profitant d’un peu de fraîcheur loin du Gard !
Déjà présents au Forum des associations de Nîmes le 5 septembre, nous retrouverons avec énormément de plaisir le grand écran le jeudi 24 septembre au soir au cinéma Le Sémaphore.
Nous vous présenterons le film de Georgia Oakley Raison et Sentiments (Sense and Sensibility, 2026) , dernière adaptation en date du premier roman de Jane Austen, paru en 1811.
Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esme Creed-Miles, Caitriona Balfe et George MacKay y incarnent les principaux rôles.

Ce sera l’occasion de lancer en salle notre 30ème saison (déjà !) ponctuée par le 30ème festival programmé du 12 au 21 mars 2027.

We hope you all had a wonderful summer, whether you were doing your best to stay cool during the heat wave or enjoying some cooler weather away from the Gard!
Our new EBIS year has already started – after participating in the Nîmes Associations Forum on September 5, we’re thrilled to announce our first event for this year, with a return to the big screen on the evening of Thursday, September 24 at Le Sémaphore cinema, with a premiere screening of Sense and Sensibility (2026), adapted from Jane Austen’s first novel published in 1811. Directed by Georgia Oakley, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Esme Creed-Miles, Caitriona Balfe, and George MacKay star in the lead roles.

The screening time will be posted on the EBIS and Sémaphore websites as soon as possible – and as with all our EBIS events, you’ll enjoy a special rate of €6 upon presentation of your EBIS membership card (regular ticket price €8).
This is the perfect opportunity to kick off our 30th season, culminating in our 30th film festival scheduled for March 12–21, 2027 – we hope to see you there on September 24!
