Il sera parmi nous pratiquement du début à la fin du festival. Homme de théâtre, scénariste, producteur et réalisateur irlandais, Jim Sheridan va marquer de son empreinte cette 29ème édition.
Nous vous présenterons six de ses films à commencer par son premier My Left Foot, immense succès sorti sur les écrans en 1989 et début de la collaboration avec Daniel Day-Lewis que vous retrouverez dans In the Name of the Father (Au nom du père) en 1993 et The Boxer en 1997.
A chaque projection, Jim Sheridan sera dans la salle, au Sémaphore ou au Carré d’Art, pour échanger avec vous.

With us from the beginning almost to the end of the festival, Irish theatre director, screenwriter, producer and director Jim Sheridan will leave his mark on this 29th festival.
We will be screening six of his films, starting with his first, My Left Foot, a huge success released in 1989 and the beginning of his collaboration with Daniel Day-Lewis, whom you will see again in In the Name of the Father (1993) and The Boxer (1997).
Jim Sheridan will be at Le Sémaphore and the Carré d’Art for each screening to introduce his work and chat with you.
